Our Cabins

All of our cabins are tastefully decorated in their own themes. To view the cabins, click on the cabin number below. You will find them neat, clean and homey. Each cabin is fully stocked with all of the necessities and then some. All cabins decks with a grill and patio furniture for your use and relaxation. We have extra folding beds, cribs, high chairs and many more items available. Please let us know if you have special needs.

Cabin rates are based on up to 4 person occupancy (children under 2 stay for free). A 2 night minimum stay is required for the cabins during peak season. During peak season (June-August) our cabins are rented from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays are based on availability. Check In time is 3:00 P.M. and Check Out is 9:00 A.M. A $200 deposit is required within 2 weeks of making a reservation in order to hold the reservation. If you must cancel, we will refund your deposit only if we are able to refill your reservation time slot. You are financially responsible for the entire length of your reservation. Rates do not include 6.875% Minnesota Sales Tax and 3.5% Lodging Tax.

An 18 ft. dock space for your private boat is provided with cabins rented 3 or more night.. Boat and motor rentals are available. All cabins are nonsmoking cabins. Butt cans and ashtrays are located on the decks.

Winter Rates
Offering $25 off per night weekend stay. That's $115 per night for cabins 1-4 and $125 per night for Cabin 5 (for 4 people). A fee of $25 per night will be charged for each person over 4. To view our cabins and availability follow the links above.

* Day visitors are defined as any individual age 5 years or older who visit the resort for longer than 3 hours.

** We reserve the right to limit the number of "Day Visitors" and the limitation of their activities should they interfere with the activities of other guest staying at Southwood.

*** Due to insurance liability, all pets must be kept under restraint and may not run loose when not in cabins. Pets may not be left alone in cabins unless in a kennel. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. Dogs are not allowed on the pontoon. Aggressive breeds will not be allowed.
